In addition to being on the front of my first notebook, I also used this poem as my senior quote when I graduated from high school in 2009. I remember trying to apply this idea of fluid connection between writing and thought, while I recorded ideas in my journals. I also think this poem represents a core aspect of how I draw. I try to let my thoughts go, to loosen my thinking, and let the pen become an extension of my mind. A lot of the art that I have done will show up here, and I'm looking forward to commenting on the evolution of my style.
